Do I need to be in the UAE to start the process?
No. We can begin setup remotely and time your arrival for Emirates ID biometrics and bank signature only. Most founders fly in once, for three to five working days.
Mainland or freezone — which is better?
Neither is universally better. Mainland lets you trade anywhere in the UAE and bid on government contracts. Freezone gives you 100% foreign ownership (now available on mainland too for most activities) and 0% corporate tax if you meet the Qualifying Free Zone Person rules. The right answer depends on your customers, not your preferences.
How long does company formation take?
A freezone licence typically takes 2–7 working days once documents are ready. Mainland takes 5–10 working days depending on the activity. Golden Visa is now targeted at under 5 working days on the unified GDRFA–DLD platform launched in April 2026.
What will it cost?
Freezone packages start around AED 12,000–18,000 for a licence plus flexi-desk and one visa. Mainland LLCs start higher due to office-lease requirements. We send a written cost sheet before you commit to anything.
Do you help with bank account opening?
We prepare the file and introduce you to relationship managers at UAE banks familiar with our structures. Final approval is always the bank's decision — no one can promise it — but clean documentation and the right activity description significantly improve odds.

Who is Golden Wasl?
A UAE PRO firm with two decades of experience in government relations — handling business setup, freezone licensing, and Golden Visa applications across all seven emirates. Bilingual in Arabic and English. Direct working relationships with Immigration, the Ministry of Labour, and multiple embassies.
What does Wasl mean?
Wasl (وصل) is Arabic for link or connection. It is also the historical name of the area that became Dubai. The name reflects our role: the connection between you and the authorities — not a layer of middlemen, a direct line.
Do you work with clients outside Dubai?
Yes. We work across the UAE — Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Quwain, and Fujairah. One point of contact for all seven emirates.
How do you charge?
Fixed quotes per engagement, issued in writing before any work begins. Government fees are paid at cost with receipts attached. We do not take referral commissions from freezones, banks, or insurance brokers.
